(cid:315)(cid:175)ೇಷ (cid:170)ಾಜ(cid:205) ಪ(cid:294)(cid:206)(cid:144)ೆ ¨sÁU À– 4ಎ , 04 , 2021 ( , 13, , ೧೯೪2) . 218 Part –IV A BENGALURU, THURSDAY, 04, MARCH, 2021 ( PHALGUNA , 13, SHAKAVARSHA, 1942) No. 218 GOVERNMENT OF KARNATAKA No. HD/49/PPA/2020-PS_B Karnataka Government Secretariat Vidhana Soudha, Bengaluru, Dated: 04.03.2021 NOTIFICATION Whereas the draft of the Karnataka State Police including Ministerial Services (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2020 was published as required by clause (a) of sub-section (2) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978, (Karnataka Act 14 of 1990) in Notification No. HD/49/PPA/2020-PS_B, Bengaluru, dated: 05.01.2021 in Part IV-A, No. 10 of the Karnataka Gazette Extra-ordinary dated: 05.01.2021, inviting objections or suggestions from all the persons likely to be affected thereby within fifteen days from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. Whereas, the said Gazette was made available to the public on 05.01.2021; And whereas objections and suggestions received within the period specified above have been examined. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act No. 14 of 1990), the Government of Karnataka, hereby makes the following rules, namely:- RULES 1. Title and commencement.-(1) These rules may be called the Karnataka State Police including Ministerial Services (Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2020. (2) They shall come into force from the date of their final Publication in the official Gazette. (1)2 2. Amendment of schedule- (1) In the Karnataka State Police including ministerial Services (Recruitment) Rules, 2004, in the schedule,- (2) in the entries relating to the category of posts of “Sub-Inspector of Police (FPB)” at Serial Number 50,- (i) in the entries in column No. (5), for the figure and words "(b) 30% by promotion of FPB Head Constables" the words "(b) thirty percent by promotion of Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (FPB)" Shall be substituted; and (ii) in column No. (6), after the heading "Probation" and the entries thereof, following shall be inserted, namely:- "For Promotion: Must have put in a service of not less than five years as Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police (FPB). Provided that if officials who have put in not less than five years of service are not available, officials who have put in not less than three years of service may be considered for promotion."
