Whereas, the said Gazette was made available to the public on 14.01.2021; And whereas no objections and suggestions have been received within the period specified above. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 read with section 8 of the Karnataka State Civil Services Act, 1978 (Karnataka Act No. 14 of 1990), the Government of Karnataka, hereby makes the following rules, namely:- RULES 1. Title and commencement.-(1) These rules may be called the Karnataka State Reserve Police (Cadre and Recruitment) (Amendment) Rules, 2020. Amendment of schedule.- In the Karnataka State Reserve Police (Cadre and Recruitment) Rules, 2020, in the schedule,- I (a) the entries relating to the category of posts of "Special Reserve Police Constable (Men) KSRP/IRB" at serial number 19, in column No. (6), under the heading 'By Direct Recruitment,' in serial No.(2) the alphabets "KSRP" shall be omitted, and (b) in column No. 6, under the heading “written examination” in clause (b) for the alphabets, punctuation and words "DIGP, Training and Recruitment" the words "DIGP, Recruitment, Bengaluru" shall be substituted. II. (a) in the entries relating to the category of posts of "Special Reserve Police Constable (Women) KSRP" at serial number 21, in the column No.(6), under the heading 'By Direct Recruitment', in item (c), for the words "Selection Authority" the words "Deputy Inspector General of Police, Recruitment as a co-ordinator" shall be substituted. (b) in column No. 6, under the heading “written examination” in clause (ii) for the alphabets, punctuation and words "DIGP, Training and Recruitment" the words "DIGP, Recruitment, Bengaluru" shall be substituted.
