The 58th Pension Adalat for pensioners and family pensioners of the Department of Posts in the Mumbai Region will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 15:00 hrs. The Postmaster General, Mumbai Region, Mumbai will convene the Adalat at the Mumbai GPO Building, Mumbai - 400001.
The Adalat will address grievances related to pensionary benefits for those who retired or died while in service from the Department of Posts. Only cases pertaining to pensioners of post offices under the Mumbai Region that have remained unsettled for more than three months will be entertained. Cases involving purely legal points, notional pension, TBOP/MACP promotion, stepping up of pay, disciplinary matters involving policy issues, and cases pending for review by Departmental Promotion Committees (DPC) will not be considered.
Pensioners must forward their grievances individually in the prescribed proforma to the Accounts Officer, Office of the Postmaster General, Mumbai Region, GPO Building, Mumbai – 400001, by Friday, February 13, 2026. Late submissions or applications filed on behalf of others will not be accepted.

Mumbai: The Postmaster General, Mumbai Region, Mumbai will convene the 58th
Pension Adalat for pensioners and family pensioners of the Department of Posts on
Wednesday, 18th February, 2026 at 15.00 hrs. The Adalat will be held at the office
of the Postmaster General, Mumbai Region, located in the Mumbai GPO Building,
Mumbai – 400001.
The Pension Adalat is intended to address grievances related to pensionary benefits
of those who retired or died while in service from the Department of Posts. Only
cases pertaining to pensioners of post offices under the Mumbai Region, which have
remained unsettled for more than three months, will be entertained.
It is clarified that cases involving purely legal points such as succession, notional
pension, TBOP/MACP promotion, stepping up of pay, disciplinary matters involving
policy issues, and cases pending for review by Departmental Promotion Committees
(DPC) will not be considered in the Pension Adalat.
Pensioners are required to forward their grievances individually, in the prescribed
proforma, to the Accounts Officer, Office of the Postmaster General, Mumbai
Region, GPO Building, Mumbai – 400001. Applications must reach the office on or
before Friday, 13th February, 2026. Submissions received after this date will not be
taken up in the Pension Adalat. Bulk submissions or applications filed on behalf of
