Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi. The opening day featured an exciting encounter in the Junior Girls (under-17) category, with Meghalaya scoring victory over Chandigarh by 2-0 in the featured match. The goal scorer from Meghalaya were Ms Genefa and Ms Wandari. The tournament was declared open following an opening ceremony attended by Air Marshal S Sivakumar, Air Officer-in-Charge Administration and Vice Chairman, Subroto Mukerjee Sports Education Society, who was the Chief Guest. India men's national weightlifting team star Lovepreet Singh graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The opening ceremony featured a vibrant line-up of performances that added color and energy to the occasion. Highlights included performance by the Air Warriors Drill Team, and a cultural presentation by students of the Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute.
