दकया िाना ह)ै के अंतगमत, ‘प्रजतजनयुजि स’े िीषम के अंतगमत ‘कंप्यूटर साइंस, सूचना प्रौद्योजगकी या
इलेक्टर ॉजनकी’ प्रजिजि को हटा दिया िाएगा।

No. A-12013/13/RR/2016-UIDAI (No. 3 of 2021).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of
Section 21 read with sub-section (1) of section 54 and clause (x) of sub-section (2) of section 54 of the Aadhaar
(Targeted Delivery of Financial and Other Subsidies, Benefits and Services) Act, 2016 (18 of 2016), as amended vide
the Aadhaar and Other Laws (Amendment) Act, 2019 (14 of 2019), the Unique Identification Authority of India
hereby makes the following regulation further to amend the Unique Identification Authority of India (Appointment of
Officers and Employees) Regulations,2020 ( No. 1 of 2020) namely:—
1. Short title and commencement—
(1) This regulation may be called the Unique Identification Authority of India (Appointment of Officers and
Employees) (First Amendment) Regulations, 2021 (No. 3 of 2021).
(2) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. Amendment in Schedule to the Unique Identification Authority of India (Appointment of Officers and
Employees) Regulations, 2020—[भाग III—खण् ड 4] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 3
(a) Against the post of Assistant Director General (Technology), under the column of Grade from which
promotion/ deputation is to be made, under heading “By Deputation”, the entry “in computer sciences,
information technology or electronics” shall be deleted.
(b) Against the post of Deputy Director (Technology), under the column of Grade from which promotion/
deputation is to be made, under heading “By Deputation”, the entry “Possessing educational qualification
prescribed for direct recruitment” shall be substituted with “Four year degree in engineering or technology or
Master degree in Computer Application from an institution recognized by Government agencies.”
(c) Against the post of Assistant Director (Technology), under the column of Grade from which promotion/
deputation is to be made, under heading “By Deputation”, the entry “Possessing educational qualification
