Will the Minister of Heavy Industries be pleased to state:
(a) the extent to which beneficiaries under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for
automobile and auto components have met localisation and value-addition commitments,
including components with persistent import dependence;
(b) whether any independent or third-party audits have been conducted to verify investment
claims, production-linked achievements and localisation data submitted by beneficiaries; and
(c) whether the Ministry proposes dedicated support for MSMEs within the auto-component
supply chain to upgrade machinery, enhance testing capability and achieve PLI-aligned
standards?

(a): To facilitate deep localization, PLI-Auto scheme incentivizes Advanced Automotive
Technology (AAT) products for which prescribed Domestic Value Addition (DVA) is achieved. As on
15.12.2025, 18 applicants have received DVA certificates for 131 products/variants under PLI-Auto
scheme.
(b) & (c): As per scheme guidelines, Statutory Auditor (SA) for the applicant is entrusted to do
audit and validate incentive claims, investment & eligible sales data. PLI-Auto Scheme has an outlay
