The Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi intends to acquire land for the public purpose of constructing an elevated road over the Barapullah Nallah, connecting Sarai Kale Khan to Mayur Vihar.

F. No. 8(2)/2015/L&B/LA/168.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub Section (1) and (2) of Section
4 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act,
2013 (30 of 2013) read with Sub-Rule (1) of Rule 3 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land
Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Rules, 2014, read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affair’s
Notification No. S.O. 2740(E) dated 21st October 2014, and S.O. 2004(E) dated 21st July 2015, the Lieutenant
Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi, intends to acquire land for public purpose for construction of
elevated road over Barapullah Nallah starting from Sarai Kale Khan to Mayur Vihar. The land to be acquired for this
purpose is 1169.093 square meter of khasra number 221/2/1(459.192 square meter) and 221/2/3 (709.901 square
meter) which the Public Works Department, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi intends to acquire
land in village Nangli Razapur. The School of Human Ecology, Ambedkar University, Lothian Road, Kashmere Gate,
Delhi – 110006 has been assigned as Social Impact Assessment Unit to carry out social impact assessment study in
relation to aforesaid land vide Notification No. 8(2)/2015/L&B/LA/155 dated 11.04.2023.
Further, the main objectives of Social Impact Assessment are consultation with stake holders and public,
survey and public hearing wherever required. The time period for Social Impact Assessment report and Social Impact
Management Plan will be six months from date of publication of this notification in the official gazette and same will
be disclosed by the way of websites, posters, leaflets and public hearing as the case may be at the conspicuous places
in affected areas, and in the office of District Collector (South East), New Delhi 110024.
