Whereas it appears to the appropriate Government that a total of 757 Sq.Mtr of land is required in Arasakulam Village Kariyapatti Taluk, Virudhunagar District, for the public purpose, namely, formation of Road from Arasakulam to Maniyapillai. Social Impact Assessment Study was not carried out as no family was displaced due to the land acquisition.The Government have accorded sanction for land acquisition under the provisions of sub-section of (1) of Section 11 of Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Lands Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013 (RFCTLARR Act 2013) or through Private Negotiation. A plan of the land may be inspected in the office of the Collector and the Land Acquisition Officer / Revenue Divisional Officer, Aruppukottai on any working day during the working hours. The Government is pleased to authorize Land Acquisition Officer / Revenue Divisional Officer, Aruppukottai and his staff to enter upon and survey of any land, and do all other acts required for the proper execution of their work as provided and specified in Section 12 of the said Act. Under sub-section (4) of Section 11 of the said Act, no person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction of land i.e. sale / purchase, etc or create any encumbrances on such land from the date of publication of this notification in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette without prior approval of the Collector.
