The Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi has issued a notification regarding land acquisition for the construction of a 4-lane RCC bridge on Najafgarh Drain.
The School of Human Ecology, Ambedkar University Delhi, has been appointed to conduct a Social Impact Assessment (SIA) study and prepare a SIA report for the land acquisition.

F No. 9(8)/L&B/LA/2022/8213.—In the exercise of powers conferred by sub rule (1) of rule 4 of the Right
to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement (Social Impact,
Assessment and Consent) Rules, 2014, read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affair’s Notification
No. S.O. 2740(E) dated 21st October 2014, read with S.O. 2004 (E) dated 21st July 2015 and Notification
No. F8/2/9/2015/L&B/LA/2373 dated 13th June 2017 issued by this Government, the Lieutenant Governor of National
Capital Territory of Delhi, is pleased to establish the School of Human Ecology, Ambedkar University Delhi , Lothian
Road, Kashmere Gate, Delhi-110006 as an organization to carry out Social Impact Assessment Study and to prepare
Social Impact Assessment report for acquisition of land purpose for construction of 4 lane RCC bridge at upstream of
RD 14468m on Najafgarh Drain and intends to acquire the requisite parcel of land in Village Badusarai of South
West revenue district.
The School of Human Ecology, Ambedkar University Delhi, Lothian Road, Kashmere Gate, Delhi-110006
shall carry out the Social Impact Assessment study as per the provisions of the Right to Fair Compensation and
Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 within a period of six months from the
date of publication of this notification in the official gazette.
