Advancing Global Partnerships: MoFPI Engages with Industry Leaders and Government Stakeholders at Africa Food 2025 in Tunis to Boost Trade, Investment, and Food Safety Cooperation
A delegation from the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), led by Deputy Secretaries Shri Vivek Kumar Singh and Shri Arunava Sengupta, participated in 'Africa Food 2025' in Tunis, Tunisia, from December 11th to 13th, 2025. The delegation engaged with industry stakeholders at the India Pavilion to discuss trade and investment opportunities in the food processing sector. Interactions were also held with Tunisian government representatives and industrial associations to strengthen bilateral cooperation and market access. The delegation visited a Food Testing Laboratory in Tunis, sharing insights and feedback to enhance food safety infrastructure and quality assurance systems. A delegation from the Ministry of Food Processing Industries (MoFPI), led by Shri Vivek Kumar Singh,
Deputy Secretary, and Shri Arunava Sengupta, Deputy Secretary, participated in the 'Africa Food
2025' held in Tunis, Tunisia, from 11th to 13th December 2025.
During the event, the delegation actively engaged with industry stakeholders at the India Pavilion,

interactions with the Government representatives from Tunisia and various industrial associations, aimed
