In a stirring display of patriotism and musical excellence, the Air Force Band of Headquarters
Maintenance Command, Indian Air Force, delivered a captivating performance at the Kavivarya
Suresh Bhat Auditorium, Nagpur, as part of the celebrations marking the 80th Independence
Day. The performance drew a large audience and offered a vibrant tribute to the nation’s
sovereignty and spirit.
The band presented a diverse repertoire, bringing together traditional military music and
contemporary patriotic melodies. The precision, synchronisation and discipline of the musicians
reflected the dedication of the Indian Air Force personnel and kept the audience engaged
throughout the performance.Among the highlights were renditions of Maa Tujhe Salam, Jai Ho, Bharat Humko and Lehra Do.
The programme concluded with the National Anthem, with the entire gathering standing in
solemn pride, bringing a poignant close to the evening.
