whereas vide para 3.1 of Training circular No. 29 of 2020 dated
21.08.2020, mentioned that online common Entrance Test (cET) and common
counseling shall not be applicabre 1br the admission to the academic year
2020 - 2021 in response to the coVID-19 pandemic which caused disruptions in
the education system across the country leading to unprecedented uncertainties and
as Indian Maritime University has informed thit the CET for the admission for the
academic year2020 - 2l had been cancelled.

Accordingly, the following relaxation to DGS Training Circular No. r2 of
2020 dated, 0 1.04.2020 is provided:
4.1 The "Online Common Entrance Test (CET) and Common
Counseling" shall not be applicable for admission for the academic year

The Maritime Training Institutes may follow their own admission
process and counseling methodology for the academic year 2021 _ 22, while
ensuring that other requirements of Training circular are strictlv rollowed.
