No. 215 भाग IV PART IV राष्ट्रीय रािधानी राज्य क्षत्रे दिल्ली सरकार GOVERNMENT OF THE NATIONAL CAPITAL TERRITORY OF DELHI दिल्ली जिजधज्ञ पररषि ् अजधसचू ना दिल्ली, 15 जसतम्ब र, 2026 194/SF/Gen/2026-—सभी संबंजधत लोगों को सूजचत दकया िाता ह ैदक दिल्ली जिजधज्ञ पररषि के 23 चुने गए सिस्ट्यों के नामों को एनसीटी दिल्ली सरकार के अजधकारीक गज़ट म ेंप्रकाजित करने और उसके बाि 01.09.2026 को दिल्ली गज़ट, भाग-IV, असाधारण म ें प्रकाजित करने के संबंध म ें बार काउंजसल ऑफ़ दिल्ली द्वारा 20.08.2026 को िारी अजधसूचना के क्रम म,ें दिल्ली जिजधज्ञ पररषि म ें सह-चयजनत (co-opted) िेष िो मजहला सिस्ट्यों के नामों की अजधसूचना िारी की िा रही ह।ै दिल्ली जिजधज्ञ पररषि म ें 25 सिस्ट्य होते ह।ैं 23 सिस्ट्यों के जलए चुनाि 21, 22 और 23 फरिरी 2026 को हुए थे। चुन े गए 23 सिस्ट्यों के नामों की िानकारी जिजधित रूप स े राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षत्रे दिल्ली सरकार के आजधकाररक गिट म ें िी गई थी, िो 28.08.2026 को दिल्ली गिट, भाग-IV, असाधारण (Extraordinary) म ेंप्रकाजित हुआ था। भारत के माननीय सुप्रीम कोटट द्वारा ररट याजचका (जसजिल) नबं र 581/2024 (योगमाया एम.िी. बनाम भारत संघ ि अन्य) म ें04.08.2026 को पाररत आिेि और ररट याजचका (जसजिल) नंबर 1049/2026 (एम. िरधन बनाम भारत 7113 DG/2026 (1)2 DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY PART IV] संघ ि अन्य) म ें02.09.2026 को पाररत आििे के तहत दिए गए जनिेिों का पालन करते हुए, दिल्ली हाई कोटट के माननीय मुख्य न्यायाधीि न े िो मजहला िकीलों को दिल्ली जिजधज्ञ पररषि का सिस्ट्य बनाने के जलए नाजमत दकया ह।ै इस बारे म ें दिल्ली हाई कोटट के संयुक्त रजिस्ट्रार के कायाटलय स े15.09.2026 को जमल ेपत्र (रेफरेंस नंबर 436/DHC/Mgt. & Coord.

Cell-I) के ज़ररए िानकारी िी गई ह।ै नाजमत मजहला सिस्ट्यों के नाम इस प्रकार ह:ैं

1. सुश्री सोजनया माथुर, सीजनयर एडिोकेट (एनरोलमेंट नंबर D/328/1990)

2. सुश्री मोजनका अरोडा, एडिोकेट (एनरोलमेंट नंबर D/912/2007) ऊपर बताई गई िोनों मजहला िकीलों को दिल्ली जिजधज्ञ पररषि का को-ऑप्टेड सिस्ट्य (सह-सिस्ट्य) घोजषत दकया िाता ह।ै इसके साथ ही, दिल्ली जिजधज्ञ पररषि का गठन परू ा हो गया ह ैऔर इसम ें सिस्ट्यों की पूरी संख्या 25 हो गई ह।ै इसके अनुसार, सह-चयजनत मजहला सिस्ट्यों के नाम राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षत्रे दिल्ली सरकार के आजधकाररक रािपत्र म ें प्रकािन के जलए भेि े िा रह ेह।ैं कनटल अरुण िमाट (ररटायडट), सजचि BAR COUNCIL OF DELHI

NOTIFICATION Delhi, the 15th September, 2026 F. No. 194/SF/Gen/2026.— It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that, in continuation of the Notification issued by the Bar Council of Delhi dated 20.08.2026 regarding the publication of the names of 23 elected members of the Bar Council of Delhi in the Official Gazette of the Government of NCT of Delhi, and the subsequent publication thereof in the Delhi Gazette, Part-IV, Extraordinary, dated 01.09.2026, the names of the remaining two women members co-opted to the Bar Council of Delhi are hereby notified.

The Bar Council of Delhi consists of 25 members. Elections for 23 members were conducted on 21st, 22nd and 23rd February 2026. The names of the 23 elected members were duly notified in the Official Gazette of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, published in the Delhi Gazette, Part-IV, Extraordinary, dated

28.08.2026.

In compliance with the directions issued by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India vide its order dated 04.08.2026 passed in Writ Petition (Civil) No. 581 of 2024, titled Yogamaya M.G. Vs. Union of India & Ors., and the further order dated 02.09.2026 passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in W.P.(C) No. 1049 of 2026, titled M. Varadhan Vs.

Union of India & Ors., the Hon’ble Chief Justice of the High Court of Delhi has nominated two women lawyers to be co-opted as members of the Bar Council of Delhi, as intimated vide communication bearing Ref. No.436/DHC/Mgt. & Coord. Cell-I dated 15.09.2026, received from the office of Joint Registrar, Delhi High Court.

The names of the nominated women members are as follows:

1. Ms. Sonia Mathur, Senior Advocate (Enrolment No. D/328/1990)

2. Ms. Monika Arora, Advocate (Enrolment No. D/912/2007) The aforesaid two women lawyers are hereby notified as the co-opted members of the Bar Council of Delhi, thereby completing the constitution of the Bar Council of Delhi with its full strength of 25 members.

Accordingly, the names of the two co-opted women members are hereby forwarded for publication in the Official Gazette of the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
