No. 14/Rules/DHC.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 28 of the Right to information Act, 2005, read with Article 235 of the Constitution of India and all other enabling provisions, the High Court of Delhi hereby makes the following amendments in Delhi District Courts (Right to Information) Rules, 2008, which were notified vide Notification No.162/Rules/DHC dated 6.5.2009 in Delhi Gazette Extraordinary, Part IV No.66 (N.C.T.D. No. 30) dated 6th May, 2009, amended vide Notification No. 457/Rules/DHC dated 11.09.2014 published in Delhi Gazette Extraordinary Part IV No. 118 (N.C.T.D. No. 96) dated 11.09.2014 and further amended vide Notification No. 82/Rules/DHC dated 16.02.2016 published in Delhi Gazette Extraordinary Part IV No. 27 (N.C.T.D. No. 208) dated 16.02.2016 :- AMENDMENTS (I) In Rule 2(e), the word “Delhi” be replaced with the words “the concerned District”. (II) In Delhi District Courts (Right To Information) Rules 2008, wherever the words “District Judge” or “District and Sessions Judge” occurs, the same be read as “Principal District and Sessions Judge” except in Clause (a) of Rule 4, the words “District Judge” mentioned at the end of the sentence be replaced with the words “Accounts Officer”. (III) Clauses (h), (k) and (l) of Rule 4 stands deleted. (IV) Clause (c) of Rule 5 stands deleted. (V) Grounds (i), (ii) and (xiii) of Rule 7 stands deleted. (VI) Instruction (xiii) of Rule 9 stands deleted. (VII) Rule 14 stands deleted. (VIII) Rule 18 stands deleted. NOTE: These Amendments Shall Come Into Force From The Date Of Their Publication In The Gazette.
