NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 9th November, 2021
No. F.1 (9)/ADLB/os-5/2015/000372362/2985-95.—In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section
(2) of Section 7 of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957, the Hon’ble Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory
of Delhi hereby makes the following amendments in Election Commissioner of National Capital Territory of Delhi
(Conditions of Service and Tenure of Office) Rules, 2019 :-
1. Short title and commencement- These rules may be called the Election Commissioner of National Capital
Territory of Delhi (Conditions of Service and tenure of office) Amendment Rules, 2021.
2. These shall come into force at once.
3. In the Election Commissioner of National Capital Territory of Delhi (conditions of Service and tenure of
Office) Rules 2019, following shall be inserted after Rule 8 of the said rules:
“Further, the State Election Commissioner shall be entitled to receive such post retirement benefits
as admissible from time to time to the retired Judge of High Court of Delhi and as approved by the
Govt. Of National Capital Territory of Delhi”.
