As per the office order of the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) dated 17.12.2025, Shri Manish Shiva Zole, Deputy Director (PIB), has been appointed as Chief of Media & Communications (CMC) for MeitY. This is in pursuance of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting D.O. No. M-20011/10/2025-Press dated 12.11.2025.
The CMC will act as the single point of contact for media engagements and information dissemination across all platforms, reporting directly to Secretary (MeitY) and coordinating with AS/JS/GC on IEC matters. All divisions of MeitY are instructed to route their media plans through the CMC. TA/DA for official tours and other working arrangements will be covered by MeitY as per entitlement.
The order has been issued with the approval of Secretary (MeitY) and is effective immediately.
Recipients of the order include: Shri Manish Shiva Zole, AS(AS)/AS(Pers.), all Group Coordinators, MeitY, Dir(Pers.)/Dir(NK)/Dir(VT)/Dir(MYSK), Dir(Pers.III)/DS(Fin.)/DS(Genl. Admn.)/US(GC)/US(O&M)/SO(Pers.I)/SO(Pers.II), PAO/DDO, and Intra-MeitY Portal/MeitY Website Cell.
Copies have also been sent for information to: DG, NIC/DG, STQC Dte., CEO(UIDAI)/DG(ICERT)/CCA, CEOs of all Autonomous Societies and Companies under MeitY, PS to MEIT/PS to MOS(E&IT), OSD/PPS to Secretary, and All DS's/US's.

No. M-20011/10/2025-Press Dated 12th November 2025 that Each Ministry/Department will have at least one designated PIB officer who will act as single point-of-contact for all the information dissemination and publicity related issues. The seniormost PIB officer assigned to the respective Ministry/ Department will henceforth be called as Chief of Media & Communications (CMC). The CMC will be responsible for all matters relating to media engagements and information dissemination through print, TV, radio, digital media, and other platforms.
