No. 255 भाग IV PART IV राष्ट्रीय रािधानी राज्य क्षत्रे दिल्ली सरकार GOVERNMENT OF THE NATIONAL CAPITAL TERRITORY OF DELHI अर् थ एव ं साजं ययकी जनििे ालय तर्ा मयु य पिं ीकार (िन्म एव ं मत्ृ य)ु कायालथ य अजधसचू ना दिल्ली, 15 अक् तूबर, 2026 la- एफ.4(66)/िीवनाकं /असजन/2025/3350.— िन्म एवं मृत्यु पंिीकरण अजधजनयम, 1969 (1969 का अजधजनयम संययांक 18) की धारा 6 की उपधारा (1) द्वारा प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करत ेहुए, दिल्ली राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षेत्र के उपराज्यपाल, दिल्ली राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षेत्र के संबंजधत रािस्ट्व जिलों और उपमंडलों के जलए जनम्नजलजित अजधकाररयों को जिला रजिस्ट्रार और अजतररि जिला रजिस्ट्रार के रूप में जनयुि करते हैं, तादक िन्म एव ं मृत्यु का पंिीकरण दकया िा सके और मुयय रजिस्ट्रार (िन्म एवं मृत्यु) के पयथवेक्षण एवं जनििे न म ेंउि अजधजनयम के अंतगतथ कायों का जनवथहन दकया िा सके:- 7967 DG/2026 (1)2 DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY PART IV] िन्म एव ं मत्ृ य ु पिं ीकरण कतव्यथ ों की प्रकृजत नाजमत अजधकारी अजधजनयम, 1969 के अनसु ार पिनाम िन्म एव ं मृत्य ु पंिीकरण अजधजनयम, 1969 (2023 तक संिोजधत) की धारा 6 की उपधारा (1) और (2) के तहत, संबंजधत रािस्ट्व जिला रजिस्ट्रार िन्म एव ं मृत्य ु पंिीकरण अजधजनयम, जिले के अजतररि जिला रजिस्ट्रार (िन्म एव ं मृत्य)ु 1969 (2023 तक संिोजधत) के प्रावधानों और इस जिला मजिस्ट्रेट अजधजनयम के प्रयोिनों के जलए मुयय रजिस्ट्रार द्वारा समय- (एडीएम) समय पर िारी दकए गए आिेिों को संबंजधत जिले म ें लाग ू करने के जलए जिम्मेिार होंगे। िन्म एव ं मृत्य ु पंिीकरण अजधजनयम, 1969 (2023 तक उप-मंडल मजिस्ट्रेट संिोजधत) की धारा 6 की उपधारा (1) के तहत अजतररि (एसडीएम) अपने- अजतररि जिला रजिस्ट्रार जिला रजिस्ट्रार, जिला रजिस्ट्रार के सामान्य जनयंत्रण और अपन े उप-मंडलों के (िन्म एव ंमृत्य)ु जनिेिन के जलए जिम्मेिार होंग ेऔर जिला रजिस्ट्रार के ऐसे संबंध में कायों का जनवथहन करेंगे, जिनका जनवथहन करन े के जलए जिला रजिस्ट्रार उन्ह ेंसमय-समय पर अजधकृत कर सकत ेह।ैं

1. यह जनयुजि दिल्ली राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षेत्र के सभी रािस्ट्व जिलों और उप-मडं लों पर लागू होगी, चाह ेवे वतथमान में मौिूि हों या सरकार द्वारा समय-समय पर बनाए, पुनगथरित या संिोजधत दकए िाए।ँ

2. इस प्रकार जनयिु दकए गए जिला रजिस्ट्रार और अजतररि जिला रजिस्ट्रार (िन्म एव ंमृत्यु) अपने-अपने क्षेत्रीय अजधकार- क्षेत्रों के भीतर, उि अजधजनयम के तहत उन्ह ेंसौंपे गए अजधकारों का प्रयोग करेंगे और कतथव्यों का पालन करेंगे।

3. यह अजधसूचना, रािस्ट्व जिलों के जलए जिला रजिस्ट्रार और अजतररि जिला रजिस्ट्रार की जनयुजि के संबंध में दिल्ली राष्ट्रीय रािधानी क्षेत्र की सरकार द्वारा िारी की गई सभी पूव थअजधसूचनाओं का स्ट्र्ान लते ी ह।ै

4. इस प्रकार के जनरस्ट्तीकरण के बाविूि, जनरस्ट्त की गई अजधसूचनाओं के तहत दकया गया कोई भी काय थया कारथवाई इस अजधसूचना के संबंजधत प्रावधानों के तहत दकया गया कायथ या कारथवाई मानी िाएगी।

NOTIFICATION Delhi, the 15th October, 2026 No. F.4(66)/VS/DES/2025/3350.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 6 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969 (18 of 1969), the Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is pleased to appoint the following officers as District Registrars and Additional District Registrars for the respective Revenue Districts and Sub-Divisions of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, for the purpose of carrying out the registration of births and deaths and for discharging the functions under the said Act, under the superintendence and direction of the Chief Registrar (Births & Deaths):- Designation Designated Nature of Duties as per Registration of Officer Births & Deaths Act, 1969 Under Sub-Sections (1) and (2) of Section 6 of the Registration of Additional Births & Deaths Act, 1969 (amended upto 2023), the District Registrar District shall be responsible for carrying into execution in the concerned district Magistrate District Registrar the provisions of the Registration of Births & Deaths Act, 1969

(ADM) of the (Births & Deaths) (amended upto 2023) and the orders of the Chief Registrar issued from concerned time to time for the purposes of this Act.

Revenue District Under Sub-Section (1) of Section 6 of the Registration of Births & Sub-Divisional Deaths Act, 1969 (amended upto 2023), the Additional District Magistrate Additional District Registrar shall be responsible for the general control and direction of

(SDM) of the Registrar the District Registrar, discharge such functions of the District Registrar concerned Sub- (Births & Deaths) as the District Registrar may, from time to time, authorise them to Division discharge.

1. This appointment shall apply to all Revenue Districts and Sub-Divisions of the National Capital Territory of Delhi as existing or as may be created, reorganised, or modified by the Government from time to time.

2. The District Registrars and Additional District Registrars (Births & Deaths) so appointed shall exercise the powers and perform the duties assigned to them under the said Act within their respective territorial jurisdictions.

3. This notification supersedes all earlier notifications issued by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi regarding the appointment of District Registrars and Additional District Registrars for Revenue Districts and Sub- Divisions.

4. Notwithstanding such supersession, anything done or any action taken under the notifications so superseded shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of this notification.

5. This notification shall come into force with immediate effect.
