New Delhi, the 19th December, 2025
S.O. 161(E).— In exercise of powers conferred by Section 3 of the Public Premises
(Eviction of Unauthorised Occupants) Act, 1971 (40 of 1971) the Central government hereby appoints Sh.
Sachindra Nath Thakur, Under Secretary (Establishment), being a Gazetted officer in the Government of
India, to be Estate Officer for the purpose under the said Act, who shall exercise the powers conferred, and
perform the duties imposed, on the Estate officer by or under the said Act, for the property exclusively owned
and maintained by Ministry of External Affairs.
