S.O. 4932(E).— ln exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 5 read
with clause (c) of sub-section (1) of section 6 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 (3 of 1956),
the Central Government hereby appoints Shri D. Anandan, Additional Secretary, Department of Expenditure,
Ministry of Finance as a Member of the University Grants Commission, with immediate effect, for a term of
three years or until he holds the office of Additional Secretary, Department of Expenditure, Ministry of
Finance or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
