No. 14 (83)/LA/2023/dsadvice/16-24.—The following Act of the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi received the assent of the Lt. Governor of Delhi on the 24th January, 2023 and is hereby published for general information. “THE DELHI APPROPRIATION (No. 1) ACT, 2023” (DELHI ACT No. 01 OF 2023) (As passed by the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on 19th January, 2023). [24th January, 2023] An Act to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the National Capital Territory of Delhi for the services in respect of the financial year 2022-2023. BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in the Seventy-third Year of the Republic of India as follows:- Short title. 1. This Act may be called the Delhi Appropriation (No. 1) Act, 2023. Issue of ` 3139,17,69,000/- from 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the National Capital Territory and out of the Consolidated of Delhi, there may be paid and applied further sums not exceeding those Fund of the National Capital specified in column (5) of the Schedule, amounting in the aggregate to the Territory of Delhi for the sum of Rupees three thousand one hundred thirty nine crore financial year 2022-2023. seventeen lakh sixty nine thousand only towards defraying the several charges which will come in the course of payment during the financial year 2022-2023 in respect of the services specified in column (2) of the Schedule. Appropriation. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the National Capital Territory of Delhi by this Act, shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the said year.
