No. 21/26 Apprn. 1/2024/LAS-VII/Leg/1875.—The following in published for general information :- THE DELHI APPROPRIATION (No. 1) BILL, 2024 BILL No. 01 OF 2024 (As introduced in the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on 04 March, 2024 BILL No. 01 OF 2024 THE DELHI APPROPRIATION (No. 1) BILL, 2024 A BILL to authorise payment and appropriation of certain further sums from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the National Capital Territory of Delhi for the services in respect of the financial year 2023-2024. BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in the Seventy-Fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-4 DELHI GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY PART IV] Short title. 1. This Act may be called the Delhi Appropriation (No. 1) Act, 2024. Issue of 824,86,44,000/- from 2. From and out of the Consolidated Fund of the National Capital Territory of and out of the Consolidated Delhi, there may be paid and applied further sums not exceeding those Fund of the National Capital specified in column (5) of the Schedule, amounting in the aggregate to the Territory of Delhi for the sum of Rupees eight hundred twenty four crore eighty six lakh forty four financial year 2023-2024. thousand only towards defraying the several charges which will come in the course of payment during the financial year 2023-2024 in respect of the services specified in column (2) of the Schedule. Appropriation. 3. The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Consolidated Fund of the National Capital Territory of Delhi by this Act, shall be appropriated for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the said year. This bill seeks to achieve the above objectives.
