The Brigade of The Guards Regimental Centre, Nagpur, conducted the Attestation Parade of
Guards Agniveers Batch-08 on 20th June 2026 (Saturday), marking the successful completion of
military training by 1,107 Agniveers and their induction into the Indian Army as trained soldiers.
Maj Gen Navtej S. Sohal, SM, General Officer Commanding, Headquarters Uttar Maharashtra
and Gujarat Sub Area, reviewed the parade and interacted with the newly inducted soldiers.
Addressing the gathering, he commended the Agniveers for successfully completing their
rigorous training and encouraged them to uphold the highest standards of discipline,
professionalism and service to the nation.
