The said Amendment Regulation shall come into force from the date of publication of this Notification in the Official Gazette. SCHEDULE KANDLA PORT TRUST KANDLA PORT TRUST EMPLOYEES (RECRUITMENT, SENIORITY AND PROMOTION) AMENDMENT REGULATIONS, 2015 In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Board of Trustees of the Port of Kandla hereby makes the following Regulations to further amend the Kandla Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2009, namely : 1. Short Title and Commencement :- (i) These Regulations may be called the Kandla Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2015. (ii) They shall come into force from the date of publication of the approval of the Central Government as required under the provisions of Sections 124 and 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 in the Gazette of India. 2. In the Kandla Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2009, in the Schedule.- (i) For the post of Deputy Chief Medical Officer (Specialist) at Sl.No.46.- (a) the entries under column 8 shall be substituted as under: “Essential : (i) MBBS Degree from a recognized University. (ii) A Post Graduate Medical Degree or Post Graduate Medical Diploma in the specified speciality from a recognized University. (iii) Post qualification experience of 7 years for Post Graduate Medical Degree holders and 9 years for Post Graduate Medical Diploma holders in a reputed hospital in the relevant field of specialization.” (ii) For the post of Sr. Medical Officer (Specialist) at Sl. No. 48.- (a) the entries under column 8 shall be substituted as under: “Essential:- (i) MBBS Degree from a recognized University or for Sr. Medical Officer (Dental), BDS Degree of a recognized University. (ii) A Post Graduate Medical Degree or Post Graduate Medical Diploma in the specified speciality from a recognized University. (iii) Post qualification experience of 3 years in a hospital, in the relevant field of specialization in the case of Post Graduate Degree holders and 5 years experience in the case of Post Graduate Diploma holders”.¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(i)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 5 (iii) For the post of Senior Assistant Secretary at Sl.No.7.- (a) the entries under column 12 shall be substituted as under: “Promotion from Assistant Secretary Gr.I/Law Officer Gr.I/Hindi Officer in the scale of Rs.20600-46500 (Rs. 9100-15100 pre-revised) with 5 years regular service in the grade failing which Assistant Secretary Gr.I/Law Officer Gr.I/Hindi Officer in the scale of pay of Rs. 20600-46500 (Rs. 9100-15100 pre-revised) with 2 years regular service in the grade and a combined regular service of 8 years in the scale of pay of Rs.20600-46500 (Rs. 9100-15100 pre revised) and Rs.16400-40500 (Rs. 8600-14600 pre revised) in the respective discipline of General Administration Department. Absorption/Deputation will be of officers holding analogous posts or post of Asstt. Secretary (Gr. I) in the scale of pay of Rs. 20600-46500 (Rs. 9100-15100 pre-revised) with 5 years regular service in the grade in a Major Port Trust.” (iv) In the Schedule, the revised manner of appointment for the post of Harbour Master shall be inserted as Sl.
