No. F. 53/1/2014/GAD/CN/3274-3321.—Vide notification No. F. 53/1/2014/GAD/CN/dsgadiii/5325-
5372 dated 02.11.2015 and notification no. F. 53/1/2014/GAD/CN/dsgadiii/5373-5420 dated 02.11.2015, 6th July
2016 was declared holiday in all Government Offices under Govt. of NCT of Delhi as well as under section 25
of Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 on account of Id-ul-Fitr.
Vide Office memorandum No. F.N0.12/10/20 16-JCA2 Dated the 5 July, 2016 of Government of India,
Ministry of Personnel Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training it has been
clarified that in Delhi Id-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on 7th July, 2016. Accordingly, holiday on account of Id-ul-
Fitr will be on 7th July, 2016 in place of 6th July, 2016, for all Government Offices under Govt. of NCT of Delhi
as well as under section 25 of Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881.
