Subject: Celebrationof Samvidhan Diwas on 26th November,2025-reg.
The 26th of November is celebrated as Samvidhan Diwas (Constitution Day) to
commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India. In order to mark this special day on 26th
November 2025, coinciding with the culmination of the year-long celebrations themed
"samvtdhan - Hamara Swabhiman", a number of activities are to be organized across the
country, highlighting and reaffirming our commitment to the ethos and values enshrined in the
Constitution, as mandated by the Cabinet Secretariat.
2. Directions in this regard were issued by the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, New
Delhi, vide D.O. Letter dated 18.11.2025 for the celebration of Samvidhan Diwas (copy
enclosed).
3. ln view of the above, the following activities are proposed to be conducted in the
Directorate on 26th November 2025:
i) Reading of the Preamble of the Constitution
ii) Participation in the online Quiz on Constitution and Democracy through the
"MyGov" platform.
4. All officers and staff are requested to extend fult cooperation and remain present in the
Conference Hall at 11:00 AM for the above activities.
5. Further, all POs, MMDs, and allied offices are also requested to organize appropriate
events/activities on the occasion and update the report to the Ministry of Ports, Shipping &
Waterways, New Delhi, under intimation to this Directorate.
