Secy.¹Hkkx IIµ[k.M 3(i)º Hkkjr dk jkti=k % vlk/kj.k 3 SCHEDULE KANDLA PORT TRUST The Kandla Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2017 In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 28 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963 (38 of 1963), the Board of Trustees of the Port of Kandla hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Kandla Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2009 namely:— 1. Short Title and Commencement.— (i) These Regulations may be called the Kandla Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Amendment Regulations, 2017. (ii) They shall come into force on the date of publication of the approval of the Central Government, as required under the provisions of Section 124 and 132 of the Major Port Trusts Act, 1963, in the Gazette of India. 2. In the Schedule annexed to the Kandla Port Trust Employees (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations, 2009, for the post of Chief Operations Manager at Sl. No. 52 :— (i) The entry under column 5 shall be substituted as “Rs. 51300-73000 ( Pre-revised Rs. 20,500- 500-26,500).” (ii) The entry under column 8 shall be substituted as under:— “Essential Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Certificate of Competency as MOT First Class/Master Mariner having Certificate of Competency as Master of Foreign Going Ship/Post Graduate degree from a recognised University. Experience 17 years' experience in Executive Cadre in Marine/Engineering/Traffic in any Port/Government or Semi Government Department/ Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body.” (iii) The entry under column 12 shall be substituted as under :— “For absorption through composite method, officers holding analogous posts or the post of Head of the Department in Category II Ports with 2 years' regular service in the grade or officers holding posts in the scale of pay of Rs.36600-62000 (pre-revised pay scale of Rs.17500-22300) with 4 years' regular service in the grade or officers holding posts in the scale of pay of Rs.32900-58000 (pre-revised pay scale of Rs.16000-20800) with 5 years' regular service in the grade in Marine/Engineering/Traffic Department of Major Port Trusts will be eligible. For deputation: Officers holding analogous posts or officers holding posts in the scale of Rs.43200-66000 (pre-revised pay scale of Rs.18500-23900) with 2 years' regular service in the grade or officers in the scale of Rs.32900-58000 (pre-revised scale of Rs.16000-20800) and above with 5 years' regular service in Marine/Engineering/Traffic Department in Major Port Trust/ Government or Semi Government Department/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body would be eligible.
