In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 72 (2)(c) of Major Port Authorities Act, 2021 (1 of 2021), under Schedule-ll of the Chennai Port Trust Employees' (Recruitment, Seniority and Promotion) Regulations 2008, the following amendments made to the existing Recruitment Rules for the post of Seaman Gr. I, Seaman Gr. II. Tindal (PC), Head Lascar (Mooring) & Head Lascar (DE) in Marine Department is cause for publication. Amendments (i) In the said Schedule-Il under the said Regulations, the words "Seaman Gr.I" appearing in the Recruitment Rules at Sl. Nos. 23, 26, 38 and 51 in Marine Department shall be substituted as "Lascar Gr. I". (ii) In the said Schedule-ll under the said Regulations, the words "Seaman Gr.II" appearing in the Recruitment Rules at Sl. No. 51 and 52 in Marine Department shall be substituted as "Lascar Gr. II".
