F. No. 59/STCC/DHS/ENF/2018-2019/1181.—In exercise of the power conferred in section 25 of the
Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade and Commerce,
Production, Supply and Distribution) Act 2003 and Rules made thereunder, the Hon'ble Lieutenant Governor,
National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi is pleased to authorize the Police personnel not below the rank of Head
Constable of Delhi Police as authorized person to enforce, to compound the offence and to collect fine under section 4
and section 6 (a & b) of Cigarette and Other Tobacco Products (Prohibition of Advertisement and Regulation of Trade
and Commerce, Production, Supply and Distribution) Act 2003 within their respective jurisdiction in NCT of Delhi in
addition to the persons authorized by the Central Govt. in the rules notified vide notification No. F. No.
P.16015/20/2007-PH Dated 30/05/2008 & other subsequent notifications.
