It has been observed that officers/staff of the Directorate are bringing politica!
influence for transfer/posting near to their home town, which is viotation of CCS (Conduct)
Rules, 1964. The Competent Authority has viewed it seriously and it is reiterated that
such behavior is not appreciated and warrants prompt and stringent action as per rules.

ln view of this, attention of all officers/staff is invited to the various provisions of the
relevant rules, as indicated in the CCS (Conduct) Rules, 1964 says that "Alo Government
seruant shall bring or attempt to bring any political or other outside inftuence to
bear upon any superior authority to further his interesfs in respect of matters
pertaining to his seruice under the Government" for strict comptiance.

Accordingly, the Competent Authority has directed to strictly comply with the
aforesaid conduct rule failing which disciplinary action will be taken as per rutes.
