This is w.r.t. the Solar Systems, Devices and Components Goods Order, 2025 dated 27th
January 2025 (QCO 2025). In this regard, w.r.t. the item number 3 “Storage battery” of this QCO
2025, it is to clarify that the QCO 2025 is applicable to all types of secondary cells and batteries
used in solar photovoltaic off-grid applications, as per the scope of Indian Standard IS 16270:2023 .
