हुए, केंद्रीय सरकार कोयला ब्लॉक आिंटन जनयम, 2017 म ें और संिोधन करन े के जलए जनम्नाजलजखत जनयम बनाती ह,ै
अथाात:् -
1. संजिप्त नाम और प्रारंभ- (1) इन जनयमों का संजिप्त नाम कोयला ब्लॉक आिंटन (संिोधन) जनयम, 2023 ह।ै
(2) ये रािपत्र में उनके प्रकािन की तारीख से प्रिृत्त होंगे।
2. कोयला ब्लॉक आिंटन जनयम, 2017 म,ें जनयम 5 के उपजनयम (5) के खडं (ग) के उपखडं (iii) में, – “बैंक गारंटी के रूप
में” िब्दों का लोप दकया गया।

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 29th May, 2023.
G.S.R. 394(E).⸺In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and clauses (d), (da), (db) and (dc) of
sub-section (2) of section 13 of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957), the
Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Coal Blocks Allocation Rules, 2017,
namely:—
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Coal Blocks Allocation (Amendment)
Rules, 2023.
(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Coal Blocks Allocation Rules, 2017, in rule 5, in sub-rule (5), in clause (c), in sub-clause (iii), the words
“in the form of bank guarantee” shall be omitted.
