COAL NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 30th January, 2025 S.O. 533(E).— Whereas it appears to the Central Government that Coal is likely to be obtained from the land in the locality mentioned in the Schedule annexed hereto. And whereas, the plan bearing Number SECL/BSP/GM(L and R)/LAND/16 dated 26th October, 2024, containing details of the area covered by this notification may be inspected at the office of the Collector, District Shahdol, Madhya Predesh or at the office of the Coal Controller, Coal Controller’s Organization, Ministry of Coal, Scope Minar, 5th Floor, Core II, Laxmi Nagar, Delhi 110092 or at the office of the South Eastern Coalfields Limited (Land & Revenue Dept), Seepat Road, Bilaspur 495006, Chhattisgarh or General Manager (Exploration Division), Central Mine Planning & Design Institute limited, Gondwana Palace, Kanke Road, Ranchi 834031, Jharkhand; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing Areas (Acquisition and Development) Act, 1957 (20 of 1957), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), the Central Government hereby gives notice of its intention to prospect for coal in the land described in the aforesaid schedule.
