संभाजवत दकसी क्षजत के जलए उक्त अजधजनयम की धारा 6 के अधीन प्रजतकर का दावा कर सकेगा;

New Delhi, the 17th June, 2022
S.O. 2786(E).—Whereas, it appears to the Central Government that the coal is likely to be
obtained from the land in the locality described in the Scheduled annexed hereto;
And, whereas, the plan bearing number MCL/BA/BBSRI OCP/SRV/2021/631, dated the
30th December, 2021 containing details of the area of land described in the said Schedule may be
inspected at the office of the Director (P), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, Jagruti Vihar, Post Office Jagruti
Vihar, Burla, District Sambalpur-768020 (Odisha) or at the office of the District Collector, District Angul
(Odisha) or at the office of the Coal Controller, 1, Council House Street, Kolkata;
Now, therefore, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Coal Bearing
Areas (Acquisition And Development) Act,1957 (20 of 1957), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ), the
Central Government here by gives notice of its intention to prospect for coal from the land described in the
said Scheduled;
Any person interested in the land described in the above mentioned scheduled may –
(i) claim compensation under section 6 of the said Act for any damage caused or likely to be
caused by any action taken under sub-section (3) of section (4) of the said Act ; or
(ii) claim compensation under sub-section (1) of section 13 of the Act in respect of prospecting
license ceasing to have effect or under sub-section (4) of section 13 of the Act for mining lease
ceasing to have effect and deliver all maps ,charts and other documents relating to the land to
show the expenditure incurred in respect of items specified in clauses (i) to (iv) of
sub-section (1) of section 13 of the said Act,
to the office of Director (P), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, Jagruti Vihar, Post Office Jagruti
Vihar, Burla, District Sambalpur-768020 (Odisha) within a period of ninety days from the date of
publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.

Boundary description :
Line A-B : The line starts from point 'A' of village Arkhapal adjoining south bank of Bangaru nallah and
advances eastwards in a straight line, crosses Arkhapal village, intersects Jadunathpur and Kandhal
villages, encounters and crosses Kandhal Reserve Forest, again enters Kandhal village to reach at point 'B'
within Kandhal village.
Line B-C : The line starts from point 'B' within Kandhal village and advances vertically downwards within
Kandhal village upto point 'C' within village Kandhal.
Line C-D : The line starts from point 'C' within village Kandhal and advances horizontally eastwards in a
straight line, crosses Kandhal Reserve Forest, intersects Krushnachandrapur village, again crosses Kandhal
Reserve Forest and enters Dayanidhipur village to reach at point 'D' within Dayanidhipur village.
Line D-E : The line starts from point 'D' within Dayanidhipur village, advances vertically downwards in
south direction in a straight line, crosses the southern village boundary of Dayanidhipur, crosses Kandhal
Reserve Forest, intersects Ekadasipur, Bidyadharpur, Rasalpur and Talabeda villages till it touches the
southern boundary of Talabeda village at point 'E'.
Line E-F : The line starts from point 'E' on southern boundary of Talabeda village and advances in a north
western direction along the village boundary of Talabeda up to the point 'F' on the Talabeda village
boundary.
Line F-G : The line starts from point 'F' on village boundary of Talabeda, advances westwards into
Balungaon-khamar village and reaches at point 'G' on the eastern boundary of Madanmohanpur village.
Line G-H : The line starts from point 'G' on village boundary of Madamohanpur, advances southwards
along the same village boundary for a short distance to reach at point 'H' on the village boundary of
Madanmohanpur.
Line H-I : The line starts from point 'H' on village boundary of Madanmohanpur, advances westwards
slightly upwardly into Madanmohanpur village and reaches at point 'I' on the western village boundary of
Madanmohanpur.
Line I-J : The line starts from point 'I' on western village boundary of Madanmohanpur, advances
westwards slightly upwardly into Kandhal village and reaches at point 'J' on the northern common village
boundary of Kandhal and Anadipur.
Line J-K : The Line starts from point 'J' on common village boundary of Kandhal-Anadipur, advances
westwards slightly upwardly into Anadipur village for a short distance and then advances northwards and

Line K-L : The line starts from point 'K' on the common village boundary of Anadipur-Kandhal, advances
westwards slightly upwardly in an arch manner into Kandhal village, close to the common village boundary
of Anadipur-Kandhal and reaches at point 'L' at the junction of village boundaries of Kandhal-Jadunathpur-
Naraharipur-Anadipur.
Line L-M : The line starts from point 'L' on the junction of village boundaries of Kandhal-Jadunathpur-
Naraharipur-Anadipur, advances westwards along Jadunathpur village boundary to reach at point 'M' on the
tri-junction of village boundaries of Jadunathpur-Arkhapal-Naraharipur.
Line M-N : The line starts from point 'M' on the tri-junction of village boundaries of Jadunathpur-
Arkhapal-Naraharipur, advances westwards along Arakhpal village boundary to reach at point 'N' at the
meeting point of Bangaru Nallah on the Arkhapal village boundary.
Line N-A : The line starts from point 'N' at the meeting point of Bangaru nallah on the Arkhapal village
boundary, advances eastwards along the southern bank of Bangaru nallah to culminate at point 'A' of
village Arkhapal adjoining south bank of Bangaru nallah.
