सा.का.जन. 165(अ).—केंद्रीय सरकार, कोयला खान भजिष्य जनजध और प्रकीणच उपबंध अजधजनयम, 1948 (1948 का 46)
की धारा 7 के साथ पठित धारा 3ड. द्वारा प्रित्त िजियों का प्रयोग करते हुए, कोयला खान पेंिन स्ट्कीम, 1998 का और संिोधन करने
के जलए जनम्नजलजखत स्ट्कीम बनाती है, अथाचत् :-
1. सजं िप्त नाम और प्रारंभ- (1) इस स्ट्कीम का संजिप्त नाम कोयला खान पेंिन (संिोधन) स्ट्कीम, 2024 है।
(2) यह रािपत्र में इसके प्रकािन की तारीख को प्रिृत्त होगा।
2. कोयला खान पेंिन स्ट्कीम, 1998 में,-
(क) पैरा 10 के, उप-पैरा (1) में, “तीन सौ पचास” िब्िों के स्ट्थान पर “एक हिार” िब्ि रखे िाएंगे;
(ख) पैरा 11 में, “तीन सौ पचास” िब्िों के स्ट्थान पर “एक हिार” िब्ि रखे िाएंगे;
(ग) पैरा 12 में,-
(i) उप-पैरा (3) में, “िो सौ पचास” िब्िों के स्ट्थान पर “एक हिार” िब्ि रखे िाएंगे;
(ii) उप-पैरा (4) में, “तीन सौ बीस” िब्िों के स्ट्थान पर “एक हिार” िब्ि रखे िाएंगे;

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 8th March, 2024
G.S.R. 165(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3E read with section 7 of the Coal Mines
Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1948 (46 of 1948), the Central Government hereby makes the
following Scheme further to amend the Coal Mines Pension Scheme, 1998, namely:-
1. Short title and commencement.- (1) This scheme may be called the Coal Mines Pension (Amendment)
Scheme, 2024.
(2) It shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
2. In the Coal Mines Pension Scheme, 1998,-
(a) in paragraph 10, in sub-paragraph (1), for the words “three hundred fifty” the words “one thousand” shall
be substituted;
(b) in paragraph 11, for the words “three hundred fifty” the words “one thousand” shall be substituted;
(c) in paragraph 12,-
(i) in sub-paragraph (3), for the words “two hundred and fifty” the words “one thousand” shall be
substituted;
(ii) in sub-paragraph (4), for the words “three hundred and twenty” the words “one thousand” shall be
substituted;
