Call for Nominations
This Directorate is in the process of developing a comprehensive "Seafarers
Manual", modelled on the recently introduced Training Manual, to enhance clarity and
accessibility regarding various processes and activities related to the Crew Branch. The
manual is aimed at supporting stakeholders by providing an easy-to-understand reference
document aligned with the operational and regulatory framework ofthe Directorate.
Civen the scope and volume of work involved, it is proposed to constitute an Expert
Committee to assist in the preparation of this envisaged manual.

ln light of the above, individuals with thorough knowledge and experience in Crew
"Branch-related procedures, including familiarity with Merchant Shipping
Notices, DGS Orders, MS Act, MS (RPSL) Rules, and other relevant circulars, are invited
to express their interest in being part of this committee.
