IV. सजमजत के काय ा
इस सजमजत का काय,ा भारत के संजवधान म ें रािभाषा के बारे म ें की गई व् यवस्ट्थ ा, रािभाषा अजधजनयम तथा
उसके अंतगता बनाए गए जनयमों, केंद्रीय हहदी सजमजत के जनणायों तथा रािभाषा जवभाग द्वारा िारी दकए गए अनुदेिों के
कायाान् वयन की समीक्षा करना तथा सहकाररता मंत्रालय और उसके संबद्ध/अधीनस्ट्थ कायाालयों के कामकाि में हहदी का
प्रयोग बढान े के बारे म ेंसलाह देना होगा ।
V. सजमजत का कायका ाल
इस सजमजत का कायाकाल, इसके गठन की तारीख से तीन वष ा होगा । िो संसद सदस्ट् य इस सजमजत के सदस्ट् य ह,ैं वे
सदन के भगं होने अथवा अपना कायाकाल समाप् त होन े पर या अन् यथा सदन का सदस्ट् य नहीं रहने पर, इस सजमजत के सदस्ट् य
नहीं रहगें े । सजमजत के पदेन सदस्ट् य अपने पद पर काया करत े रहने तक सजमजत के सदस्ट् य रहगें े । इस सजमजत में कोई स्ट् थान
ररक्त होने पर यदद दकसी व् यजक्त को उसके स्ट् थान पर सदस्ट् य नाजमत दकया िाता ह,ै तो वे िेष अवजध के जलए सदस्ट् य बन े
रहगें े। जविेष पररजस्ट्थजतयों म,ें इस सजमजत का कायाकाल घटाया या बढाया िा सकता ह ै।
VI. यात्रा और अन्य भत्त े
1. इस सजमजत की बैठकों म ें भाग लेन े के जलए गैर-सरकारी सदस्ट् यों को रािभाषा जवभाग के ददनांक 22 िनवरी,
1987 के कायाालय ज्ञापन सं. 11/20034/4/86-रा.भा. (क-2) में जनजहत ददिाजनदेिों के अनुसार और भारत
सरकार द्वारा समय-समय पर यथा संिोजधत जनधााररत दरों और जनयमों के अनुसार यात्रा और दैजनक भत्ता देय
होगा ।
2. इस सजमजत का मख्ु यालय नई ददल् ली होगा । सजमजत की बैठकें सामान् यत: नई ददल्ल ी म ेंआयोजित की िाएंगी ।

IV. Functions of the Committee
The functions of the Committee will be to review the implementation of the Official Language Policy as
envisaged in the Constitution of India. Official Language Act & the Rules made there under, decisions of the
Kendriya Hindi Samiti and the instructions issued by the Department of Official Language and also to render
advice in regard to increasing the use of Hindi in the working of the Ministry of Cooperation and its Attached
and Subordinate offices.
V. Tenure of the Committee
The tenure of the Committee will be for three years from the date of its constitution. The Members of
Parliament, who are members of the Committee, shall cease to be members of the Committee on the
dissolution of the House or on expiry of their term or otherwise ceasing to be member of the House. If a[भाग I—खण् ड 1] भारत का रािपत्र : असाधारण 5
vacancy arises in the Committee, the member nominated against that vacancy shall hold office for the
remaining period. The ex-officio members of the Committee will remain members of the Committee till they
work in their respective post. Under special circumstances, the tenure of the Committee may be curtailed or
extended.
VI. Traveling and other allowances
1. The non-official members attending the meeting of the Committee would be paid TA and DA as per the
guidelines contained in the Department of Official Language OM No. 11/20034/4/86-OL (A2) dated
January 22, 1987 and as per the prescribed rates and rules as amended from time to time by the Govt. of
India.
2. The Headquarters of the Committee shall be at New Delhi. The meetings of this Committee will be
generally conducted at New Delhi.

Ordered that a copy of this resolution be communicated to all the members of this Committee, all the State
Governments and the Union Territory Administrations, all the Ministries and Departments of Govt. of India, President
Secretariat, Prime Minister Office, Cabinet Secretariat, NITI Aayog, Comptroller and Auditor General of India, Lok
Sabha Secretariat and Rajya Sabha Secretariat.
