No. ADM/LAC/SW/2015/12966.—In the exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 read with Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs Notification No. S.O. 2740(E) dated 21st October, 2014, read with S.O. 2014(E) dated 21.07.2015, it appears to Lieutenant Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi being the appropriate Government that a total of 19 Bigha 14 Biswa land is required in the TajPur Khurd Village, Sub- division/Tehsil Kapashera), South West Delhi, District for public purpose, namely, Construction of Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP) for Delhi Jal Board. The Social Impact Assessment Study was carried out by Social Impact Assessment (SIA) Unit, Indian Institute of Public Administration (IIPA) and SIA report was submitted on 08.03.2024.The summary of the Social Impact Assessment Report/ preliminary investigation is as follows: - As per recommendation of the Social Impact Assessment report, the requisite parcel land serves legitimate and bonafide public purpose and is bare minimum amount of land. There is no family likely to be displaced due to the proposed acquisition of land. A total of Nil families is likely to be displaced due to the land acquisition. The Additional District Magistrate, South West District, Revenue Department is appointed as Administrator under the provisions of Section 43 of the RFCTLARR Act,2013 for the purpose of rehabilitation and resettlement of the affected families. A plan of the land may be inspected in the office of the Collector, District South West on any working day during the working hours. The Government is pleased to authorize District Magistrate, South West District, Delhi and his staff to enter upon and survey land, take levels of any land, dig or bore into the sub-soil and do all other acts required for the proper execution of their work as provided and specified in section 12 of the said Act. Under section 11(4) of the Act, no person shall make any transaction or cause any transaction of land i.e. sale/purchase etc., or create any encumbrances on such land from the date of publication of such notification without prior approval of the Collector. Objections to the acquisition, if any, may be filed by the person interested within 60 (sixty days) from the date of publication of this notification as provided under section 15 of the Act before Collector. If the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi is satisfied that the land is needed for Public Purpose, a final notification will be published in the Delhi Gazettein due course.
