The Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, Department of Women and Child Development, issued a corrigendum notification in Delhi on October 28, 2025, under F. No. 61(1994)/POCSO Court Notification/DD (CPU)/DWCD/2023-24/12578-608.
This notification partially amends Notification No. F. No. 61(1994)/POCSO Court Notification/DD(CPU)/DWCD/2023-24/6926-59 dated July 31, 2023, to include that the designated court will also try and hear cases against current or former Members of Parliament or Legislative Assembly related to offenses under the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act and Section 28 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.
The notification also clarifies that "PC Act" should be read as "The Prevention of Corruption Act", "CBI" as "Central Bureau of Investigation", and "POCSO Act" as "The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act". The remaining content of the July 31, 2023 notification remains unchanged. Dr. Rashmi Singh, Secretary, issued the order under the authority of the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

CORRIGENDUM NOTIFICATION
Delhi, the 28th October, 2025
F. No. 61(1994)/POCSO Court Notification/DD (CPU)/DWCD/2023-24/12578-608.—In
partial modification of the Notification No. F. No. 61(1994)/POCSO Court Notification/DD(CPU)/DWCD/2023-
24/6926-59 dated 31.07.2023, the designated court mentioned in the said notification shall also try and hear the cases
against any Sitting/Ex-Member of Parliament and any Sitting/Ex-Member of Legislative Assembly in relation to
commission of any offence under the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act, and by virtue of provision of
Section 28 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offence Act, 2012.
Further, the word “PC Act” may be read as “The Prevention of Corruption Act” and word “CBI” may be
read as “Central Bureau of Investigation” and word “POCSO Act” may be read as “The Protection of Children from
Sexual Offences Act”
The rest of the content of the above said notification dated-31.07.2023 shall remain the same.
