This document, issued by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, declares Saturday, February 7th, 2015, a public holiday. This holiday applies to all Government offices, Public Sector Undertakings, and Autonomous Bodies under the Government of NCT of Delhi, as well as Local Bodies. The declaration is made on account of the General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Delhi, 2015.
Furthermore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (Act 26 of 1881), read with the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs' Notification No. U.11030/2/73-UTI, dated 28/6/1973, the Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi also declares Saturday, the 7th of February, 2015, to be a public holiday on account of General Election to the Legislative Assembly of Delhi, 2015.
