A team of officers from the National Defence College (NDC) visited the Mormugao
Port Authority (MPA) today, February 06, with an aim of getting insights into the
Port's operations and infrastructure.
The delegation was received by Dr. N. Vinod kumar, Chairperson, Mormugao Port
Authority, and Shri Vinayaka Rao B.S., Deputy Chairperson. Later at an interactive
session, the Chairperson welcomed the delegation and explained the functioning of
the Port, highlighting the Port’s infrastructure, traffic performance, financial
parameters, security measures, and future development plans.
A session was also held where discussions focused on port governance, operational
efficiency, and the strategic role of ports in national development.
