No. F. 12(111)/91/AHD/400.—.In the suppression of this Government’s notification No. F.
12(111)/91/AHD/204, dated 18th April, 2023, the Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi is
pleased to constitute Delhi Animal Welfare Board as per schedule to address Animal welfare issues at the
State level as mandated in various rules framed under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960. The
Board will act as the governing body and extend financial as well as technical assistance including
guidelines to 11 District Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and organizations/societies involved
in animal welfare work in National Capital Territory of Delhi.
