The Department of Posts, Goa Division, has launched a focused initiative to
encourage customers to adopt digital modes of payment while availing postal
services across all Post Offices in Goa. The initiative aims to promote Digital India
and provide faster, safer and more convenient services to the public.
Customers are encouraged to make payments through UPI, QR Codes, Debit/Credit
Cards (POS) and other digital options for services such as Speed Post, Registered
Post and Parcel booking. Digital payments reduce waiting time, provide instant
transaction confirmation, eliminate the need to carry cash and ensure secure and
transparent transactions.
All Postmasters and counter officials have been instructed to assist customers in
adopting digital payment methods across the State.
