The Department of Telecommunications (DoT), under the Ministry of Communications, concluded the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign, "Swachhotsav", from 17.09.2025 to 02.10.2025. The campaign facilitated large-scale advocacy and citizen participation focusing on cleaning Cleanliness Target Units (CTUs) across the country, engaging officers and staff of DoT HQ, attached offices, subordinate offices, field units, and public sector units. Events included walkathons, poster making competitions, tree plantations, Swachhata pledges and SafaiMitra Suraksha Shivirs across DoT's field offices. All officers/officials of various PSUs/Subordinate Offices/Field units participated on 25.09.2025 in large numbers to contribute in shramdaan activities, encouraging citizens towards a cleaner and greener society. The campaign also witnessed the launch of implementation phase of Special Campaign 5.0 with a commitment to resolve pending public issues and other related matters. DoT is actively participating in Special Campaign 5.0, having identified targets on disposal of pending MP references, State Government References, Public Grievances, PG Appeals, and Parliamentary Assurances. A target has been set to review/weed out 22,168 physical files and dispose of 43 VIP references, 2105 Public grievances, and 555 Public Grievances Appeals. The Department has identified more than 450 campaign sites across pan India under its organizations/ field offices/ PSUs during the campaign to resolve pending matters. Department of Telecommunications (DoT) celebrated Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign from
17.09.2025 to 02.10.2025 with the theme “Swachhotsav”. The campaign facilitated large scale
advocacy and citizen participation for Swachhata, cleanliness drives with focus on cleaning of
Cleanliness Target Units (CTUs) across the country. The campaign attracted active participation of
officers and staff of DoT HQ, attached offices, subordinate offices, field units and public sector units.

In response to the call for a simultaneous nationwide shramdaan event, under “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, EkSaath,” all officers/officials of various PSUs/Subordinate Offices/Field units participated on 25.09.2025 in
large numbers to contribute in shramdaan activities and also encourage citizens to contribute towards a
cleaner and greener society.

The conclusion of the Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign also witnessed the launch of implementation phase of
Special Campaign 5.0 with a cleanliness drive at DoT HQ and a commitment to resolve pending public
issues & other related matters.
The Department of Telecommunications is actively participating in Special Campaign 5.0. During the
identification phase of the campaign (up to 30.09.2025), the Department has already identified targets on
disposal of pending MP references, State Government References, Public Grievances, PG Appeals,
Parliamentary Assurances etc. The Department has set target to review/weed out 22,168 physical files and
dispose of following pending matters:
