published in the Gazette of India vide S.O. 2056(E) on 8th May 2025; and in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-
section(1) of section 69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (21 of 2000) read with rule 3 of the Information
Technology (Procedure and Safeguards for Blocking for Access of Information by Public) Rules, 2009, the Central
Government hereby authorizes and designates:
(a) Shri Ajit Kumar, IAS(KL:2006), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology,
Government of India, Electronics Niketan, 6 Central Government Offices Complex, New Delhi - 110003,
as the Designated Officer for the purpose of the said rules.
(b) Shri Sushil Pal, ICAS(1999), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology,
Government of India, Electronics Niketan, 6 Central Government Offices Complex, New Delhi - 110003,
as the Designated Officer for the purpose of the said rules during the absence on account of leave, tour,
