NOTIFICATION-I In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023), the State Government hereby declare that the area consisting of Hitech Defense & Aerospace Park, Phase – 1 (Hardware Sector), Hitech Defense & Aerospace Park, Phase – 1 (IT Sector), Hitech Defense & Aerospace Park, Phase – 1 (Aerospace Sector) & Hitech Defense & Aerospace Park, Phase – 1 (Aerospace SEZ Sector), Devanahalli Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District with an extent of 3013.53 acres occupied by industries as shown in the map enclosed herewith & consisting of areas specified in Schedule A to be called as “the Devanahalli Hitech Defense & Aerospace Park, Phase – 1 Special Investment Region”.

NOTIFICATION-II In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) & (3) of section 8 of the Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of 2023), the State Government hereby designate Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) as the Regional Development Authority for “the Devanahalli Hitech Defense & Aerospace Park, Phase – 1 Special Investment Region” and is empowered to exercise all the powers and perform all the functions as specified under Section15 of the said Act.

Whereas, the State Government has declared Hitech Defense & Aerospace Park, Phase – 1 (Hardware Sector), Hitech Defense & Aerospace Park, Phase – 1 (IT Sector), Hitech Defense & Aerospace Park, Phase – 1 (Aerospace Sector) & Hitech Defense & Aerospace Park, Phase – 1 (Aerospace SEZ Sector), Devanahalli Taluk, Bengaluru Rural District as “the Devanahalli Hitech Defense & Aerospace Park, Phase – 1 Special Investment Region” published vide Notification-I, No. CI 10 SPQ 2025, dated 10.02.2025 as required under sub-section (1) of section 3 of the Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022(Karnataka Act 5 of 2023).

Whereas, the State Government has designated Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (KIADB) as the Regional Development Authority for Devanahalli Hitech Defense & Aerospace Park, Phase – 1 Special Investment Region published vide

Notification-II, No. CI 10 SPQ 2025, dated 10.02.2025 as required under sub-section (1) & (3) of section 8 of the Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022(Karnataka Act 5 of 2023).

Now, therefore in exercise of the powers conferred under Sub Section (1) of

Section 29 of the Karnataka Special Investment Region Act, 2022 (Karnataka Act 5 of

2023), “the Devanahalli Hitech Defense & Aerospace Park, Phase – 1 Special Investment Region” shall deemed to be an Industrial Township and the Government of Karnataka hereby declare that the Karnataka Industrial Areas Development Board (Regional Development Authority) to be the Industrial Township Authority.

Also, the Government of Karnataka hereby accord permission to exercise powers and discharge functions of Industrial Township Authority by the Regional Development Authority under sub-section (2) & (3) of section 29 of said Act.
