The Digital India BHASHINI Division (DIBD), under the Digital India Corporation
(DIC), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), and the Reserve
Bank of India (RBI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) under the
initiative titled “BHASHINI for Seva / Sanchalan – A BHASHINI Sahayogi Program”
on 23 February 2026 to collaborate on integrating BHASHINI’s language AI models
to enhance multilingual access to banking and financial services and promote
financial inclusion across India’s diverse linguistic landscape.The MoU provides for the deployment of BHASHINI models within RBI’s ecosystem,
