  • The rules outline a detailed procedure for conducting social audits of Fair Price Shops, including notification requirements, coordination responsibilities for Food Supply Inspectors (FSI) and District Magistrates, and the involvement of vigilance committees and ward residents.
  • Social audit meetings must be conducted at least once every six months, minuted, and videographed. Ward residents are given the opportunity to object to any inaccurate content in the reports.
