NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 22nd December, 2025
S.O. 5942(E).— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Recycling of Ships
Act, 2019 (49 of 2019), the Central Government hereby appoints the 24th day of December, 2025 as the date on which
provisions of the following sections of the said Act shall come into force, namely:-
(a) sub-section (3) of section 1;
(b) section 2;
(c) sections 4 and 5;
(d) sections 7 to 29 [both inclusive];
(e) sections 31 to 41[both inclusive]; and
(f) sections 44 to 46 [both inclusive].
