NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 26th July, 2026
Subject: Extension in timelines for the implementation of the Order for product categories included in
the schedule of CRO vide S.O. 1929(E) published in Gazette of India on 26th April, 2023
S.O. 4182(E).— Whereas in exercise of the powers conferred sub-section (1) and (2) of section 16
read with sub section (3) of section 25 of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016, (11 of 2016), the Central
Government, vide S.O. no 1929 (E) published in Gazette of India on 26th April, 2023, had added “Television
Sets” at Sl. No 64 of the Schedule of the “Electronics and Information Technology Goods (Requirements for
Compulsory Registration) Order, 2021” for compliance to IS 18112:2022. The date of coming into effect of
the Order was 26th July, 2026.
It is hereby notified that the date of implementation of the Order stands extended to 26th January, 2027.
