करती हैःै –
(क) मौिूिा 32 इन्फैन्री बटाजलयनों (प्रािेजिक सेना) में से िजक्षणी कमान, पूिी कमान, पजिमी कमान, मध्य
कमान, उत्तरी कमान, िजक्षण – पजिम कमान, अडं मान एि ं जनकोबार कमान और सेना प्रजिक्षण कमान के क्षेत्रों म ें तैनाती
के जलए 14 इन्फैन्री बटाजलयनों (प्रािेजिक सने ा) को अगं ीभूत करना।
(ख) अंगीभूत करन े के आिेि तभी दिये िायेंग ें िब धनराजि बिट में उपलब्ध हो अथिा बिट म ें आन्तररक
बचत का पुनर्ियजनयोिन करके उपलब्ध कराई गई हो। रक्षा मत्रं ालय को छोड़कर अन्य मंत्रालयों के आिेि पर अगं ीभूत की

NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 6th May, 2025
S.R.O. 9(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Rule - 33 of the Territorial Army Rule 1948, the
Central Government empowers Chief of the Army Staff to exercise the powers under that rule to call out every officer
and every enrolled person of the Territorial Army to provide for essential guard or to be embodied for the purpose of
supporting or supplementing the regular army to the extent specified below namely: -
(a) Out of the existing 32 Infantry Battalions (Territorial Army), embodiment of 14 Infantry Battalions
(Territorial Army) for deployment in the areas of Southern Command, Eastern Command, Western Command,
Central Command, Northern Command, South Western Command, Andaman and Nicobar Command and Army
Training Command (ARTRAC).
(b) The embodiment shall be ordered provided the funds are available in the budget or have been made
available by re-appropriation of the internal savings in the budget. For units embodied at the behest of Ministries
other than Ministry of Defence, the cost will be debited to the respective Ministries and will not be included in the
budget allocation of the Ministry of Defence.
(c) This order shall remain in force for three years with effect from 10 Feb 2025 to 09 Feb 2028.
